As many of you know I just recently moved into a new home. Before my home was paid off and I had no house payment to make. Now that I do I've had to cut corners a little. I was afraid my yard would be what I was have to sacrafice. But I found loads of flower and vegtable seeds at walmart for .10 cents per pack and with a few dollars I was able to plant my flower beds as normal it just took a little more time on my part.
Then one day I was flipping through the newspaper and saw a announcement that the local county extension office was takeing orders for strawberry plants 25 plants for $3.00 dollars so I ordered a batch. When they came in they didn't look like much but after planting them along my front walk way they are all thriveing. I have to say that after examining them they may be my biggest money saver of the year. They where cheap to begin with, loaded with pretty white flowers for over a month and now are full of tiny strawberry's for later in the picking season.

No I haven't forgotten about you all. I've just started a new job and Im back in school. Who would have thought that this close to 30 I would be back in school but it has happened. Nursing school has a lot of homework let me tell you. Thank God for my stockpile. But my drinks are starting to dwindle so I spent 20.00 at Douglas Grocery on the 3/10.00 deal they where having and stocked back up with 3, 12 packs of diet Dr.pepper and 3 of Mountain Dew. I have already update my year to date budget to reflect it.
